I heard a quote last year by a successful author who stated,

"Of those who buy a book only 80% actually start reading the book, but only 20% actually finish the book"

These numbers shocked me. When I was in my teens I used to enjoy reading Christians books that were shorter in length. It helped me read about many subjects and glean knowledge. I used to dream about one day having my own publishing house to produce similar books. Books that every day Believers could read and grow from. Books that people would finish, and not just buy.

In 2021, when I self published my first book,  I felt it was time to establish a fledgling publishing house called Outpouring Press. Our mission is twofold,
